Looks like meego (linux flavor) is getting traction with Genivi (global alliance of car manufacturers and phone platforms) in order to define the next generation mobile infotainment platform in cars, TVs, mobile phones. Good luck with mobile, but with BMW, PSA and Renault Nissan as founding members, the screens in our cars may become a little bit more fun sometime soon.

Perfect combination: Sweden and green. Really awesome design by Tham & Videgard. The tree hotel is close enough to the artict circle that the midnight sun should be possible to see at least until July. Awesome.
Full story on Yahoo Green: http://tinyurl.com/23ljtsc Nice, a touchscreen tablet for $35 ? Announced yesterday with much fanfare, a neat little tablet for $35 ... I suppose the ministry of resource development is talking about cost. The cheapest shenzhen phones, with basic 2.4 inches displays, cost about $19. Anyways looks promising, sounds like a much better candidate than the netbooks who were supposed to address the same targets in the emerging markets several years ago ...
